1. Ownership of this website

This website (lpal.eu and its pages) is operated by Lion Pride Armwrestling League e.U., Lastenstraße 23, 1230 Vienna, Austria ("LPAL", "we", "us"). Full details are in the imprint. By using this website, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Use of the website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes: to find information about LPAL events, athletes, tickets and livestreams. You may not misuse the website, for example by trying to get unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, collecting data automatically on a large scale, or using it for anything unlawful.

3. Copyright and trademarks

All content on this website, including texts, photos, videos, graphics, fight posters, the LPAL logos and the names "Lion Pride Armwrestling League" and "LPAL", belongs to LPAL or to its partners and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages and posts. Any other copying, editing or use, especially for commercial purposes, needs our prior written permission.

Logos and brands of partners, sponsors and platforms (for example TitanGrip, Kick, YouTube, Instagram) belong to their respective owners.

4. Tickets, registrations and partnerships

• Tickets for LPAL events are sold through our ticketing provider Ticket Tailor. The ticket terms shown at checkout apply to every ticket purchase.
• Registrations for the LPAL Qualifier Tournament are subject to the participation terms shown on the registration page. The qualifier tournament is organised by Peter & Schäfer GbR, Köln, Germany.
• Sponsorships and partnerships are subject to separate written agreements.

5. Events, livestreams and information on this website

We put a lot of care into the information on this website, but match cards, athletes, times, prices and other details can change before an event. Livestreams are provided on third-party platforms (for example Kick and YouTube) and depend on their availability. Information on this website is not a binding offer unless stated otherwise.

6. Links to other websites

This website contains links to other websites, for example social media, Kick, YouTube and our ticket shop. We have no control over their content and are not responsible for it. If we learn that a linked page contains unlawful content, we will remove the link.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. We do not guarantee that the website is always available or free of errors.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Austrian law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

9. Changes

We may update these terms of use from time to time. The version published on this page applies.

When you visit this website

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with servers worldwide). To deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and working website). This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

Content from other services

To show you our content, some pages load content from other providers. When this happens, your browser connects to their servers and they receive your IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in an attractive presentation of our content):

• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland): fonts for the design of the website.
• YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland): our videos are embedded in the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may set cookies or similar technologies when you play a video.
• Instagram feed via Behold (behold.so): shows our latest Instagram posts. Images are loaded from Behold's and Instagram's servers.
• Ticket Tailor (Zimma Ltd., United Kingdom): ticket checkout on the tickets page.
• Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland): payment for the qualifier tournament registration. Card details are handled only by Stripe.

Some of these providers may process data in the United States or the United Kingdom. This is based on the EU adequacy decisions (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, United Kingdom) or the EU standard contractual clauses.

Tickets

When you buy a ticket, Ticket Tailor processes your name, email, order and payment details on our behalf to issue your ticket (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payment records are kept as required by tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Contact

If you contact us by email or Instagram, we use your message and contact details to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact: business@lionpride-armwrestling.com.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
